Are you in pain or suffering from ill health?
Acupuncture and massage are tried-and-tested systems of complementary medicine that have been used for thousands of years. They are known for treating a wide range of conditions. I am particularly skilled at treating muscular and arthritic pain. 80% of patients who come to see me in pain experience a significant reduction in their pain levels within six treatments. I also have great success in treating people with a range of other symptoms, including:
- Stress and fatigue
- Menstrual problems and menopausal symptoms
- Headaches and migraines
- Sleep problems
- Fertility issues and supporting women through pregnancy
- Digestive and gastrointestinal problems
- Feeling low or depressed
- Poor immune system
- Problems with ears, eyes, nose and throat
Why my treatments are so effective?

Since 2011, I have been engaged in ongoing postgraduate training with Andrew Nugent-Head (www.traditionalstudies.org). This training has enabled me to refine and deepen my understanding of acupuncture and massage, particularly in relation to pain and its associated pathologies.
I also use scalp acupuncture and electroacupuncture. Scalp acupuncture is a contemporary technique that draws on Western medical knowledge of neuroanatomy and neurophysiology. In China, scalp acupuncture is primarily used to treat stroke-related paralysis, and is also very effective for other neurological conditions and musculoskeletal pain.

Electroacupuncture involves applying gentle electrical stimulation through pairs of acupuncture needles, allowing me to precisely control the stimulation at acupuncture points. It helps reduce pain and muscular tension and supports tissue recovery. It is not painful, and you remain in control of the intensity throughout the treatment. Combining scalp acupuncture with electroacupuncture is a powerful combination and often brings about remarkable results.
I also integrate hot stone massage into my treatments. Using these modalities, I tailor each treatment to the individual, taking into account their symptoms, age, gender, the strength of their constitution, and how they are feeling on the day. This focus on identifying your specific needs for each treatment, and the skills to meet them, is what makes my treatments so successful.
Who comes to see me?
People come to see me with a wide range of health problems, which I am often able to significantly improve or completely resolve. Those who experience the benefits of my treatments often continue to see me regularly for maintenance. They generally enjoy a better quality of life, are pain-free, and continue to feel great. Maintenance treatments include acupuncture and deep-tissue hot-stone massage to ease aches and pains and prevent tension and imbalances from worsening.
Acupuncture or massage?
Some people choose acupuncture or massage as a stand-alone treatment. However, most people use a combination of these therapies, as they find it a more powerful and effective way to treat their condition or maintain their health.
Acupuncture

I use the theories of Chinese medicine and associated diagnostic skills to understand your condition and determine which acupuncture points to use to bring about the healing response you desire. Depending on the strength of the treatment, you may experience a dull ache at some points. This sensation has been shown to have significant therapeutic value. If I’m using electroacupuncture, you may feel a comfortable pulsing or tapping sensation at some points. It is not painful, and you remain in control of the intensity throughout the treatment.
Hot stones massage

As well as feeling amazing, hot stones are a very effective way to treat muscular and arthritic pain. I use the stones to apply slow, deep pressure strokes and compression movements. The warmth from the stones melts away muscular tension, allowing the tissue to relax more deeply and enabling faster recovery from pain or injury.
Massage and bodywork
I use a wide range of massage and bodywork techniques, including shiatsu, Tui Na (Chinese bodywork), Qi-focused bodywork, sports massage, deep tissue, and therapeutic massage. People find that bodywork amplifies the effects of acupuncture and, depending on the techniques used, can leave you feeling anywhere from deeply relaxed to very energised.
